Alabama Bicentennial



Alabama Humanities Foundation has selected Headland as one of the 67 cities participating in the state to host the Making Alabama--A Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit in celebration of Alabama becoming a state 200 years ago.

Headland will participate in the traveling tour beginning Thursday, Oct. 2 through Oct. 27. The exhibit will be displayed in the Blanche R. Solomon Memorial Library. The tour is something everyone will enjoy!

The Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit tour is free to the public. Exhibit hours will be Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
